I personally find my workout performance is so much better fasted (HIIT or Swimming) - more energy, strength and greater endurance
Sometimes I can train at 12pm, other days are 9pm. I definitely notice a difference in my workouts when fasted (fasted being anywhere from 12-60 hours)
I’ve trained fasted (HIIT and LIIT type workouts) and it hasn’t been a problem.
But I’ve also have worked out after eating a carb heavy snack like organic energy balls made with nuts and oats. It does give me more energy, but I find myself burping mid workout. It also doesn’t feel good to do crunches for example, because I feel full
