You probably want to avoid ones made from fruit. Just because something is made from fruit doesn’t make it healthy. Stuff like fruit juice has worse health outcomes than soda.

You actually probably want to find ones made using sweeteners, which will have lower calories. The main issue would be related to digestive issues.

Answer

get the Smart Sweets brand. They have mostly fiber, and only 2 g of sugar. Expensive but honestly your addiction is better served by simply…getting over it…rather than looking for a healthy substitute. Since sour gummies are not inherently addictive like other chemical substances, you have to make the assessment of whether your “addiction” is actually interfering with your life, and then seek mental health assistance if it is.

Milk kefir? Specifically the grains… If you let it ferment really sour, then eat the grains they taste sort of like sour gummies to me, similar texture and can be nicely tart. Just gotta make sure you save enough to make more.

I freeze grapes, let them melt a little in my hand and eat them in place of gummies.

But the really addictive part for me for sour stuff especially is the citric acid….which you can just order by itself and put on anything you want….

But, it occurs naturally in pineapple, which I eat a lot of, as well as lemon and lime. I like to add a bit of lime juice to my drinks, which also helps when I’m developing munchies.
