Is this realistic giving my weight and height?

Hi guys! New to this thread, But been fasting off and on for awhile now.

I have a goal of losing 10 pounds by next Wednesday the 16th.

Here are my current stats: 24 y/o, female, 4’10/4’11, and 120 lbs. my goal is 110.

I do work out every day for about 20-45 minutes on the elliptical. When I’ve fasted previously for 3 days (about) I lost I think 3 pounds. Not a ton of exercise.

Any advice or tips let me know. :)

Answer

You are really small, so I doubt that your BMR is anything over 1200 kcal. 30 minutes on the elliptical would spend 300 kcal at most. That means a daily deficit of 1500 kcal.

To lose one pound of fat, you need a deficit of ~4000 kcal. If you fast for 5-6 and exercise everyday, you will have a deficit of 7500-9000 kcal, or around two pounds of fat.

Your weight might be lower than that on the scale, but that’s all water, lack of food in your digestive system and glycogen
