Is water fasting with blood pressure medication possible?

I’m all about giving water fasting a go. However I’m a bit cautious as I take medication for hypertension. Does anyone hav experience with this?

I would be really careful doing extended fasts with blood pressure medication that affects how the kidney works/renal function, for instance ACE inhibitors and ARBs. Kidney failure could be a consequence if unlucky.I would recommend that you speak with your doctor if possible.Personally I did a fast for 7 days on medication, but had to adjust BP medication due to dizziness and low blood pressure. For shorter fasts <72hr I keep my medication. I am planning a new 7 days fast soon, and I am planning to take a break from BP medication.
