It can suck to spin your wheels. How do you get over a fasting rut?

I lost a huge amount in July. I went from 167KG to 147KG (fed to fasted weights) in 19 days, and then slowly got down to 142kg and have held here for too long.

I just need a nice long fast to get myself to a new lower set point, but I am struggling with it.

I am trying to walk 2-4 hours a day, sleep enough and drinking electrolytes.

I’m thinking of having daily motivational session (writing down what motivates me - some motivational posts on here).

What do you do in these situations?

Answer

Good job on losing 25 kilos already, my advice is to take your time to keep losing weight, and focus on other things that you enjoy. Fasting can really help get a better relation with food and invest some time in passions/hobbies.

Answer

What motivates me is when others take pictures or videos of me. You can’t take them yourself because you’ll find a nice angle, you need to see yourself as is, a candid photo. In my head I can convince myself that I look fine but then I see a candid photo and it’s clear I still look a little heavy.
