Just completed 4 day water fast can I safely jump into the 7 day dry?

Hello friends,

I drank some electrolytes on day 3 and 4 on my water fast. I ve just broke the fast with big fat rib eye steak and feeling freaking good.

Now I want to get to the real deal, and I mean dry fast.

Should I wait for another few days to start dry? Or can I drank more electrolytes tonight and start from tomorrow?

Thanks

I personally don’t see a need to wait if you are not dehydrated and your electrolytes are not out of balance. I decided to start a long fast to get rid of my excess weight. Stopping and starting has a yo-yo effect I don’t care for.

I ate yesterday and don’t like the idea of food sitting in me while dry fasting, so I am doing 2-3 days electrolyte water and black coffee. Then I will transitioned dry (soft dry - I plan on mineral/Epsom salt baths in the evening if I feel poorly) and then finish with a water fast until I am 5lbs below goal. It’s ambitious, but I’m tired of playing around with this weight and the health issues it is causing me.

I plan on walking daily and some body weight exercises a few days a week. I have a sedentary job and need to otherwise move daily.

dr filonov recommends switching from DF to WF and never the other way around. electrolyte imbalance is not easy to understand and therefore it is better to reduce the possibility of it happening by following the correct order

From my experience you’d still have to work from 1 day dry fasts to 7 days. Though if you feel fine then you can keep going to possibly 7 days, no harm in just going until you feel like you need water and then just drink,
