Just finish my 36 hours water fast. Here's my experience.

I ate my last meal on Sunday afternoon (4 chicken legs with rice and a banana) around 4pm and ended up eating again today at 7am (7 eggs with butter, a banana, a slice of Syrian bread and lemon water).

During monday I felt very energetic and even a little euphoric in the afternoon, I experienced an intense feeling of happiness last lasted some minutes. I followed my normal schedule: Took a shower, went to work, made some chores, etc.

Drunk around 2.5 liters of water during the day, and was able to sleep normally.

I’ve been practicing intermitent fasting (2Mad) for a while but fasting for a whole day is just a whole new level and is truly amazing. Also, by skipping one entire day of eating I was magically able to decrease my grocery bill by 15% lol.

So I’ve decided to try to establish this Monday fast as a habit.

I’ve been Monday fasting for the past few weeks, and I’ve really been enjoying it. I do keto OMAD during the weekdays, then I give myself a couple cheat days on the weekend. The Monday fast really helps me get a great start to the week, since my sleep when I’m fasting seems so much more restful.

I’ve been trying to get back to fasting. My max so far has been around 42ish hours, but for whatever reason, it’s hard to stay determined.

This is really motivating, and I looove the idea of the Monday/Tuesday fast! No need to carry the guilt of all the cr*p you ate over the weekend for the rest of the week! lol
