Last week I fasted Sunday night until Friday Morning and then ate Keto during the weekend. I thought that would give me some sort of benefit during this week where I plan to do the same regimen. However I’m unsure about that, I have the same downsides as last week where I was starting from a non-Keto diet.
Will it take some time until the positive effects of staying in ketosis show or wouldn’t it make a difference If I switched back to eating a regular whole food diet on weekends? The last is more fun for me and therefore easier to maintain.

It might not do anything. But I find Keto between fasts helps me not be as hungry and possibly might help me burn slightly more… there is evidence that Keto can cause your RMR to be slightly higher. I used Keto and ADF last year to lose 50 lbs.
In the short term you are likely to lose water from Keto which will likely show up on the scale.
