I’m on a plateau. 5”9/185, goat 175. I generally do 16/8. I’m on a plateau. For grins and giggles, I picked up some keto piss strips, and I’m pretty deep into keto after 12-13 hours of fast. If I were to extend my “keto period” by having a keto lunch a few days a week, would that be of any use?
I’m sure it can help! I try to eat low carb but I started my weightloss journey with keto and found it too limiting. I stalled on keto after 2 months after losing 20lbs then found IF. The weightloss is slower (about 10-11lbs/8 wks) but at least there’s movement! Staying in ketosis can help but I’d be hesitant to eat around the clock and not do any IF while consuming keto. I’d stay at least 14hrs fasting
When I find myself stalling, I’ll try changing things up like “re-feeding” more food one day or heavier meal with more carbs (since I stay low carb). I’ll even do a longer fast…maybe a 24hrs here and there. Do a workout, if you usually don’t. Find what works. Keeping the body on it’s toes usually works.
