Hi redditors, my question is fair simple but i want to know if any of you have experienced like, faster healing in skin when a small cut happens or an injury. Since fasting i feel like my wounds or any i recover faster.
Fasting triggers autophagy, which it the body’s natural cellular recycling and repair process.
That and the fact that you’re not putting crap in the pie hole for a bit.
Yeah, you’re gonna heal up a little quicker. It’s a sign that you’re doing things right!
I remember similar back in uni days, when I decided to quit sodas, cake and bread and eat hamburgers only. Crude yes, but still an improvement. My guess would be that things that reduce inflammation (including fasting) can have this effect.
Another noticeable, was I wend from constant colds to never having them.
Yet another, was I went from sweating extremely much all the time, to hardly at all.
