Ladies do you guys think being on your period slows down weight loss whilst daily fasting?

Today is day 8 of 16:8, 22F, SW: 161 CW:159 GW: 140. I eat 1800 calories in my timeframe very strict. I started my period 3 days ago and my weight has been climbing during that period even though no change in diet. I did work out 4 of the days (Im doing couch to 5k.) I do feel significantly less bloated and gross. My question is do you think the weight will fall off once I’m off of it or do you think basically this week is just a nill week? Thanks!

Answer

Hormonal cycles affect most women when losing weight but they can affect different people at different times. For example, my weight loss stalls (or sometimes my weight even goes up) for the 4 or 5 days before my period starts, but once it starts that weight drops quickly. For other women, they have that problem during their period instead of right before it.
