Late night fridge raid

Yesterday in the evening, which is when I eat my one meal a day, I did not eat more than half of my meal because I was feeling off in my stomach and just couldn’t hack it.

Today, I was working on my college work from my desk at home, which obviously meant I would slowly descend into insanity by the afternoon from trying to concentrate and anxiety(probably worsened by hunger and high amounts of caffeine) so I went for a hike.

All was going well until about halfway where my abdomen started to hurt, reminiscent of a cramp before having the shits. It came and went every now and then but went away for a while until I finished my hike. As expected I had diarrhoea and was forced to unleash it in a undeserving public toilet.

I waited til the evening and had tea, which I ate all no problem. But going to bed, I still felt a craving for cheese and dairy products. I couldn’t sleep so I raided the fridge at midnight, eating cracker after cracker of cheese (cheddar) and drinking alot of milk.

Anyways, my 2 questions are: Is having diahorrea common on low calories/OMAD? Can I justify my second round of food at night after eating so little the previous day and undergoing a vigorous hike?

Could be too much food at one time, indigestion. During the fasting period do stay hydrated, it also helps to keep your digestive system regular and keep your body functions going smoothly. I do 18:6 IF and have two meals and sometimes feels like too much.

If you do the one meal a day I think its best to consume the meal in sections over like say and hour or just a slower pace perhaps, if this makes sense, so your stomach has time to ingest everything and isnt just getting a whole ton of food in a short time.

I work nights-coffee coffee coffee. No more energy drinks for 2 months now.

Night shifters pee a LOT, like… they’ve done studies we pee more for some reason and have other gi related issues.

Usually I drank French press coffee (STRONG) too. But the wife got an espresso machine for Christmas so now it’s lightly sweetened on plain espresso for me.

Gi had cleared up (probably also just IF doing its thing) and I pee for less frequently…

Look at the coffee is I guess what I’m saying. What’s your brew method? Having too much? Or?
