Just thrilled that I completed a 68 hour fast today. This is as long as I have ever gotten. And I have been stubbornly stuck at a weight level and adding the extra time resulted in breaking through the plateau.
Trying to work up to 72 hours.
Congrats! Knowing that you can do that at least once really sticks with you and demonstrates that you have self-control when it comes to what you eat and how you eat.
The feeling of the physical benefits of the fast such as feeling lighter, more clear minded, and more generally healthy help to motivate us to do it again!
Great job! Stretch out the time at your own pace for sure. Fasting is a very powerful tool, so just rolling 40 or 48s are huge! To your point, adding time at least accelerates weight loss, but also is a great “hammer” to get through any weird setpoints/plateaus a body might have.
23 and days counting mate. You can do it! For me having another goal “I’d like to finish X before I finish my fast.”
Part of that is detailing out my meals for a few months - and price comparing them before making the trip to Costco/Mijer/Walmart/Aldi/Amazon.
