Looking to buy/read one of Dr Fung's books

I’ve decided to make some changes to my lifestyle and eating habits and educate myself so I’m looking to buy one of his books, one that contains all the necessary information. I might buy more later but I need one for the time being. Should I get the “obesity code” or “complete guide to fasting”?

Thank you very much!!

Answer

There is also: The Diabetes Code.

I believe Fung said is more recent and covers more than The Obesity Code. Although looking just now, I’m not finding that quote for you.

He also said all the material is free online. The books represent about a year effort to better organize and present the online material.

So I totally support get the book/s. But if you want to start read his material NOW. Here are some good links:

Answer

If you’re diabetic, the diabetes code, if you’re obese, read the obesity code… If you are extra nerdy, or a perfectionist, the complete guide to fasting is a good follow up to either book, but not necessary. I also love all of his podcasts.

Answer

Just finished reading the guide today. Frankly, I think I got as much or more info from watching his YouTube videos than was covered in the book. That said, I watch videos at 2X speed and consumed hours of video. Diabetes code will be my next book since I’m T2, and on more meds than I want.
