magnesium in coconut water

coconut water is supposed to be a great source of magnesium, but it contains nearly as much calcium, and they "fight" each other to get absorbed. so, do we actually *absorb* the magnesium from coconut water?

It contains relatively small amounts of each mineral, so your intestines should have plenty of transporters for them. Competition between nutrients is really only a concern when you’re supplementing large amounts of a particular nutrient on a daily basis.
