Magnesium supplement help (pins and needles in extreme ties)

Hey guys. I’ve been fasting with electrolytes (the usual salt, no-salt, baking soda), using magnesium supplements instead of epsom salt. Except I often get pins and needles in my hands and feet. Ive tried “Doctors BEST high absorption magnesium” as well as “nature made magnesium citrate”, but for some reason I can’t rid myself of these symptoms.

Does anyone have magnesium supplements they use that work? Could this be a symptom of something other than magnesium deficiency?

Thank you so much.

Edit to note I do follow electrolyte guidelines

Answer

Maybe someone will have a more helpful response but this really does seem like something you should ask your doctor. Also when was the last time you had your blood tested? You might’ve gone into fasting with pre-existing deficiencies
