So as said, I’m a Mailman as occupation. Ive been wanting to give fasting a try after I went and discussed it with my doctor. My only concern is it really a good idea to fast with the job I have?. Just got employed so I wasn’t able to ask my doctor the same time I asked before.
Start with intermittent fastening 16h fast 8 h eating which basically means you skip breakfast. If it works well and you feel fine extend to 18:6 so you have lunch later in a day if that works fine do OMAD one meal a day. If you are still fine jump on Alternate day fast train fast one day eat next one. See how it goes etc
You should be fine but best way is start small if it feels good continue if it doesn’t break your fast.
You can also try 5:2 split where you fast over weekend and eat during a week.
You need to state the kind of fasting you have in mind. Knowing your age and weight would not hurt.
When I was in the army we would go on six mile runs after a night of heavy drinking. Obviously it sucked but we got the job done. Will you feel like you have less energy while fasting? Well I don’t know because I have no idea what kind of fast you have in mind, but I do know that you could push through it just fine.
