Make a 3-ingredient meal

If you could choose only a carb, fat, and protein source, what would you make?

Include any spices, seasonings, and flavor enhancers (salt) that you’d like! I’m looking for new simple recipes to make.

My suggestion : oats for carbs and egg white for protein. Mix them up in a mug with a splash of water until it is at proper thickness and pop in the microwave for 1-2mins. Top with PB for fat and serve with a pinch of cinnamon and salt. Delicious and easy breakfast if you ask me.

Salmon. Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika cumin, cayenne.Jasmine (white) rice with lime juice and cilantro. Roasted asparagus or sautéed kale with s&p, garlic powder and a little bit of balsamic vinegar

I love new ideas but I also like to go back to the whole meat and potatoes aspect of the 40s-70s (my childhood being in the 70s). Does anyone else remember just having a pork steak, mashed potatoes and green beans? So easy! Only now we are armed with a lot better flavorings (my mom had no idea what garlic was) and things like sweet potato (more fiber) or mashed cauliflower.

Someone also mentions quinoa and salmon and using the above formula, that’s another one of my faves. I like quinoa, roasted cubed pumpkin and salmon.

-Lentils (any kind, but I’m less fond of red as they are so easy to overcook)-Canola oil (optional)-Rice noodles (the really skinny kind- that way you can simply pour boiling water over them and wait ten minutes) ORBulghur wheat, which is of course much more nutritious than white rice, but not everybody likes the texture (again, look for the kind that you can cook via simply soaking them in hot water)-BBQ seasoning -garlic and/or onion powder-Any cooked green
