How feasible would it be to fuel a 12-24hr endurance run or bike on a McDonald’s menu? Can you imagine a top athlete pulling a quarter pounder with cheese out mid-ride/run? I always crave them on long rides.
I mean when you’re doing ultras, you just need calories. I’ve seen people eat pizza, so not much different. When you’re doing extremely prolonged events, the bodies main source of fuel is fat. Combine that with the sugar and caffeine in a McDonald’s coke and you’re cooking.
