Measuring body fat - any recommendations?

Hi everyone,

I started my IF journey roughly a month ago and since I don’t have that much weight to lose but struggle with very stubborn belly fat and thighs, I thought it might be motivating to measure body fat.

I’ve heard of body fat scales and calipers, so I’m wondering if they actually work? Does anyone have any experience with these tools and can report?

And are there any other tools that might work?

Thanks a lot :)

Answer

There are a few apps that you can use that calculate using the Navy Method. That just uses a measuring tape.

Alternatively, you could just measure with tape and not convert to body fat. Theoretically, if the gay is coming off those areas, the circumference would decrease (barring muscle growth)
