medical support?

I’m in search of a new primary care doctor and figured I would love one that supports fasting, especially extended!!

I don’t even know how to find one. . .I’m in MA, if you have a recommendation!!

But does it even really matter in the USA, where medical is so pill and surgery pushing? advice would be great.

I’m 42F (CW~306)…I’ve fasted in the past and got down to ~270 in the fall of 2020 with Keto, IF, and walking, but here i am AGAIN :(

I am generally pretty healthy and my old primary stepped away from her practice during the height of the pandemic lock down. . so i really should find someone!

Florida here. My PCP is just a regular general medicine MD and she’s knowledgeable, supportive of extended fasting. Was quite surprised when I brought it up with her last year. Call around if you have to. Some of the regular docs are slowwwwwly starting to come around.

Uhh even tho it’s generally a good idea to listen to doctors.. don’t rely on a primary care doctor to help you with your fasting.. that’s totally up to you everyday.. all they can do is give advice …

PCPs are mainly there to check on you and see if you need to be referred to another doctor
