Ok so I knew I had to lose some fat after lots of stress eating for some months, and to be honest I had stress anxiety and great sadness, so I do OMAD( one meal a day) for now and the mental Benefits are amazing, no more of those negative emotions, and I know I have to fix my problems, I feel though that when fasting we fast our brain also from the energy that would turn to stress, anxiety, depression, I don’t know for how long I will continue OMAD however these 3 days were amazing!! Plus my body starts to look slightly better!
I do OMAD almost always combine with 3-4-5 day fasts. Mentally, I’m super good for my age. Physically, it’s been a lifesaver. But I have a pretty low metabolism at 65 yo. So you have to consider your age and needs?
