When does metabolic flexibility typically kick in? I see that IF helps overcome insulin resistance in general, but how long typically does one have to maintain a fasting lifestyle before becoming flexible?
My anecdotal experience is that after probably a month of intermittently intermittent fasting (lol) it became a LOT easier to go longer between feeding periods on a whim, without really any adjustment period. No keto flu, etc.
So I’d say, give it a month of effort, and see where you are.
