mild exercise whielle fasting?

I’m on day 5 of a planned 7 day water fast. And I’m also seeing a physiotherapist for my back issues.

He has me do some exercises everyday to strengthen my back

I’m just wondering if the exercises would even help becsuse theres literally no protein intake to build the muscle up.

What’s your view on mild exercises while water fasting.

Absolutely yes! I honestly look forward to my walk on day 3. It feels like I’m on drugs almost. I find I have tons of energy. Also, growth hormone ramps up around day 3 so you are actually more apt to build some muscle.

My understanding is that with autophagy, we’re breaking down and using protein within our bodies and using them. Also, physio is more than just muscle building. You’re also building your ability to connect with those muscles and use them better

There’s lots of other reasons to keep up the exercises but yes, mild exercising is fine and safe for most people if you’re doing everything you should within the fast. However depending on your situation, you might need to speak with your doctor or physiotherapist about it to make sure
