More Confidence and less stress

Hello, first post, I think, maybe second. I’ve done OMAD for months now. I have lost some but I combine working out so I think my fat is going away and I’m building muscle. XXL to Large shirts and dropped pant sizes. Looking at the scale was kind of boring with no movement. Anyway the last two weeks I’ve added a 48 hour fast every week. I’ve gotten so much clarity mentally is amazing. My aches and pains are not as bad either. I’m thinking it helps with anxiety or something because I feel so much more confident and can handle stress even better. I didn’t struggle with confidence(not arrogant) but I just have more of it. Then the stress just fades away. Sure everyone of us has it, maybe fades away isn’t accurate but I can handle it better. When 5 things come at me as a priority I can just deal with it better. I don’t know any other life changes I’ve made other than the 48 hour fast. I’d try a longer fast but after the second day even with electrolytes I just don’t have any gas in the tank to lift or do hiit. One poster recommended to fast on an off week of lifting, I might try. Anyone else experience this?

I think just work out around your fast days, fast days go for a walk. I’ve done a mix of working out and fasting and you can adapt and work out while fasted but it’s probably more a matter of getting used to fasting and then having energy in the tank than anything you can really train.
