Multivitamin intake during water fast. Exercise. Brain fog. And anything else I should be doing?

I started my water about 80 hours ago. I actually didn’t plan on doing a water fast, I basically didn’t eat for a day(only drank water), and I though, well I’m already 24 hours in. I really don’t have an end date in mind.

At this point I am consuming water, recently added with Hi-Lyte electrolyte supplement(doesn’t have sugar/cals) . I’m also taking Wellbutrin, asked the doc today(clearly told him what i was doing) and he said its fine.

Well My questions are the same as on the title:

-\> I started to get concerned about malnutrition, should I be? my diet(ketogenic w multivitamins) was pretty okay around April and was pure trash(take out/carbs/alcohol ) till i started the water fast.

-\> I was thinking about what could happen if I add too much of the electrolyte solution(?)

-\> can I exercise, i’m in bad shape(overweight), should I exercise (will it provide better results?)

-\> Dry mouth/white coating on tongue. I remember having this on the ketogenic diet, but this is much worse, the electrolytes don’t seem to be doing anything to solve it. Did you have it, how did you solve it.

-\> Slight Brain fog. I think that’s self explanatory, but it feels like i’m not completely in my head, and i either take too much time to think, or too little, either way it doesn’t seem i’m in fully in my head. Why/How is this happening? how do I stop it? does it go away?

-\> anything else, any other advice? should I do anything? change anything? It seems pretty simple to follow, and I have overcome the worst.

I have to add, I know these questions might have been answered before, but there was no consensus whatsoever. I though if I asked it personally, it would give me better clarity. so I apologize if this is the 50th time you have seen this.

Sorry for the long post, much longer than what I thought it was going to be( tmi ? ), but it pretty much sums it up. I also want to say that I hope it doesn’t seem like I’m complaining, cause i’m not.

Other than all that, I feel pretty great.

Thanks for all your help, and your time.

Some vitamins are fat soluble, so personally, I take a tablespoon of coconut oil and then take my vitamins afterwards. I have not noticed a reduction in my weight loss by doing that.

Exercise? I exercise and have very little diminished energy levels but rather the opposite where I feel like I could run a marathon. That usually happens by day 3-4 though.

Brain fog is fairly normal during the transition and again should clear up after the first few days.

I never noticed the tongue issue but generally I brush my tongue after my teeth. I also pop some sugar free gum if I get that keto breath.

Eh, just listen to your body. As Fung mentioned, “you aren’t starving, you are eating your fat for breakfast, lunch and dinner.”

If you want the white tongue to go away sooner(it will stay that way until you detox a bit) you should fast without the electrolytes and multivitamin and just do some dry fasting for a few days(you will be fine.) Work out lightly or just walk. It will cure the brain fog most of all.
