My experience with intermittent fasting

Hey everyone, I’ve been doing IF since September and I’ve lost a good amount of weight (around 16 kg). It should be noted that besides doing the fasting I also started to walk a lot more (at least 10 km per day) and the food I’m eating is not as bad as before (although it’s not like I’m eating whole foods everyday, but at least I eat less crappy stuff).

Now the interesting part is that IF is having some other unexpected effects on my body which I was not expecting. For the last four years I have a small wound on my leg which for some reason never completely healed. I had a doctor seeing it once and he told me that it was nothing serious so I never worried too much about it, however since I’ve been doing IF it has progressively gotten smaller and smaller. I still have it but it’s less than a half of what it used to be. Also, I had a wart on my neck for a while now and just yesterday I noticed that it’s completely gone.

So I can’t prove IF had anything to do with this, but there is no other difference in my lifestyle for the last couple of years that could have had any impact on my skin at this level. Do you think IF has anything to do with these changes?

Answer

So awesome! Lots of ppl have anecdotal stories of aches healing etc.

Was the wart on your neck maybe a skin tag? Skin tags are a sign of incoming diabetes. When you break your insulin issues, skin tags fall off.
