Something I just learned that’s really interesting:Dr Jason Fung says that days 2 and 3 are the hardest, so if you’re going that far, he suggests doing an extended fast instead because then you’re getting into autophagy benefits (then you’re clearing out bad cells, proteins and other gunk in the body). There’s also a decrease in hunger after those days so things improve. If you’re always stopping at day 2 and 3, it’s so difficult you’re not as likely to repeat it.
I’ll try to find the video link. He’s incredibly insightful. He’s treated many patients with water fasting, including reversing type 2 diabetes.
