Hi My Fellow Fasters,
As the title says. My friends wife was diagnosed with cancer. Has anyone here battled cancer and cured it using extended dry fasts?
My friend is hesitant and doesn’t necessarily believe in dry fasting. It seems foreign to him, but he seems open to the idea of suggesting this as a way to help his wife and cure her of cancer.
Because he is on edge, I thought I would post here and see if anyone can share their stories about how they used dry fasting to defeat this disease.
Much thanks.
There is a lot on it, however I imagine anyone who is diagnosed with cancer is first of all shellshocked and secondly inundated with everybody’s personal opinion of how to tackle it.
We know fasting fixes things but others haven’t changed their thinking and probably won’t at this traumatic stage.
At the very least it is proven that fasting helps greatly with the side effects and recovery from Chemo and that may be a way to open their eyes to its benifits.
Look up Pablo Kelly. He had stage 4 brain cancer (glioblastoma), which has a very high morbidity rate. He’s lived well, well past expectations with fasting and a strict ketogenic diet (minimal surgery and treatment outside of that).
If I had cancer, I would watch everything by Dr. Thomas Seyfried and follow his guidance (reducing glucose and glutamine as low as they can go to “starve the cancer” away).
i also think if a person is fasting with cancer their blood needs far more monitoring . someone here posted long ago that fasting was actually accelerating their cancers cell growths. also chemo does carry lots of risks.
supposedly vitamin b17 is helpful in killing cancer cells . unfortunately most of the medical advice on cancer prevention won’t have clearly defined results. you really want to look into psychedelics of shrooms , supposedly that fungus can kill harmful gut bacteria. and don’t let md run you through chemo until you have exhausted all options. there’s very interesting findings with shrooms and recovery .
there’s also wim hof method, the effects of placebo, ice baths, buteyko breathing . everything here is the applied action of placebo effect and controllable hypoxia and unknown medical phenomena of mind over matter manifesting through controllable hypoxia and the power of heat shock proteins. again you might have something helpful here but the mind blowing results go against every medical literature
hope you and your person survive !
People have cured cancer by utilizing different type of fasting protocols. Water fasting, Dry fasting, Juice “fasting”, UT and a fruitarian diet combined with different healing and purifying herbal teas. If I had cancer I would do Dry fasts as long as I could then break the fast with only Raw fresh juices made with living fruits and then switch to a juice fast for a few days then jump back to a long Dry fast and continue that combination till the disease is gone.
No disrespect intended but many people are heavily indoctrinated and brainwashed by the mainstream medical, science and pharmaceutical entities and perspectives so it can be very hard for certain people to be open minded enough to try these more natural fasting protocols long enough to see serious results.
Your friends wife might resonate with the healing perspective of Dr Robert Morse who has helped people heal from many things including cancer using fasting, raw living fruit diet, Juice “fasts” and herbal protocols. He has lots of videos on Youtube
Cancer is a serious illness. This is not the time for you to come in with what you believe is some miracle cure that you found on the internet. This is the time for actual doctors and friends being supportive in a non-invasive way.
i second the video on fred evrard although dr berg is not a medical doctor rather a chiropractor and there’s huge criticism against some of berg’s “medical advice” and he often throws around the dr title often which should be causing concerns . that’s not to say he won’t be able to have some truthful stuff but it’s starting from a place of manipulation.
No, but Dr. Valter Longo has decisively proven that fasting during the 5 days of recieving chemotherapy drastically reduces side effects of chemotherapy and increases the benefits by protecting healthy cells and creating a harsher environment for the cancer cells
I would not use dry fasting during a cancer treatment since unwanted weight loss is a real concern
A 7 day water fast that begins the day before the first chemo dose of a 5 day chemotherapy session and ends the day after the last shot is a much better idea for many reasons. The main one being the preservation of weight.
