my metabolism going down?

Hi family, I’m 19 been fasting for 6 days Started with 14:10 and today is my first 16:8 I noticed my metabolism is decreasing I kind already had slow metabolism (this is the reason I’m overweight) is that normal? I also do drink a lot of water but I do cut down my food in eating time (I’m Persian most of our food is very hard to calculate the calories for so I just end up cutting). I also gained like 2kg which I’ve read it’s normal with in the first days.

For reference I start at 10pm and I finish at 3pm so I skip breakfast, and I walk 13,000 steps everyday (to burn 25% of my BMR). I’m 6’1” CW 211 GW 190.

I think you mean appetite, not metabolism. It’s normal for your appetite to decrease, your body has been in the habit of snacking and digesting constantly, and now it’s transitioning to actual hunger pangs. I found it an eye-opening, revelatory experience to not feel constantly snacky.
