Really depends on what exactly he is eating.
Successful carnivore diet will normally include eating a variety of the less popular organ meats and not strictly muscle meats.
Only people I’ve known to be successful carnivore long term eat all the nasties too, id rather have an apple and spinach thanks. But it works for them
No diets really better but if he is only eating muscle meats he will get health complications from it sooner or later
I do carnivore. Tried it temporarily to help with gred and ended up doing it on and off for two going on three, years. Best I feel is when I stick to it, but i also do keto. I always feel better with zero carbs and veg. Some people treat it like a religion… I think of it more of a I give up variety to feel at 100%. Never had any health issues. But that is my anecdotal story.
Carnivore is really only good as an elimination diet. For people having lots of gut issues, cutting out everything, except for meat, because people rarely have an intolerance to meat, can help them figure out what they’re eating that’s causing them issues. There are some people who do better on a carnivore diet because they react poorly to so many other foods, but majority of people won’t do well on it longterm.
