My weight has stagnated

I ate my last meal on December 31 so I’m 118 hours in. My weight hasn’t budged since yesterday morning. I’m not taking any calories in.

What can I do?

Answer

In general you don’t actually lose that much weight during the fast. The fast resets the body and most importantly builds your mental discipline allowing you to master food. No longer are you “starving” if you don’t have lunch or haven’t eaten. You no longer have low blood sugar issues and shaking hands. You’d take these new skills and transition into a low calorie high nutrient diet, one meal a day or fast every other day. Some combo of that and then you’ll see real lasting weight loss in the long run. And that’s what we all want right?
