I’ve started a 10 day water fast last thursday. I lost 4,7 kg and then it just stopped after 6 days. I’m feeling very discouraged. Is this normal? Will I continue to lose weight after a while? Should I quit? I need help very desperately. Thank you all in advance.
It’s not unusual. Water weight is a large part of the initial weight loss. When your body rebalances, you can gain some water weight back while still losing body fat. Definitely do not quit. You’ll regret giving up. Imagine your future self in a few days, looking back and saying to yourself “Damn, those days flew by fast. If I had stuck with it, I’d be down <x> more pounds by now.”
