Nearing Goal/Target Weight, what is next?

Hi, I’m a new poster, but I’ve probably been doing some form of intermittent fasting since May, 2022.

Originally, when the pandemic started, I was probably around 188lbs. I dieted and worked out until I hit 175, and then started IF/OMAD. I’m now nearing 155lbs, with my goal being something like 150lbs.

My question is– what do I do when I get there? Do I maintain IF? My worry is that if I continue I’ll continue to lose more weight. If I jump back to 2 meals a day (I’ve never really done 3 meals a day since adulthood), will I start gaining weight? At this point, my body is fairly used to eating only once a day, and I don’t know if I care to go back to eating twice a day.

Currently, I haven’t been working out as much as I was before (work has kept me from doing so), so the majority of the weight loss I’ve had since May 2022 is from IF.

Try and eat low GL/GI foods.

Two healthy meals a day when you are not trying to lose weight anymore,16:8 or even 14:10 is more than enough.

Maintain a healthy relationship with food.
