This evening I will start my 7 day fast. I’m already lean and at the end of this fast I will be pretty shredded, I’m not doing it for weight loss, but for spiritual and mental purposes.
After this fast my goal is to stick to a diet routine that will provide me with bounds of energy that are stable and high throughout the entire day.
I’m a business owner and work very long hours. I used to rely solely on drugs for physical and mental energy, but after this fast I will be officially sober and in need of a new source of energy. (I’ve tapered off drugs over the last 2 months and intend to bury the hatchet in my past addictions permanently with this fast.)
In the past, I used to think going OMAD Carnivore was the way, due to having high ketone levels throughout the day, I assumed they would fuel me and I’d feel good and stable.
However recently I’ve watched Cole’s videos on lean meat and fruit (and totally agree with what he says based off of my own experience) where he talks about eating 2-3 meals/day and is fucking pumped all day long, loaded with energy, good bowel movements, etc.
What would you guys recommend? 3 square meals a day? Nice and balanced?
2 meals a day with an intermittent fasting routine so I’m still in ketosis burning fat part of the day?
Also, I do exercise pretty intensely daily, first thing in the morning. After that though, I’m pretty much in front of my computer for the rest of the day.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, any feedback is greatly appreciated. ❤️
Hmmmm…..
We know when we fast we have alot more energy. depending on what you eat it may or may not make you sleepy.
cole says you should be able to do sprints after eating (a way to make sure you don’t overeat)
you could fast all day and eat before going to bed or a few hours before bed so that may aid in sleep.
