Hello everyone! I’ve seen on the wiki that the correct amount of electrolyte needed for a day is (except magnesium) :
-3g potassium
-3g sodium
I have some kind of potassium product with on the label :
For 100g:
-35g potassium
-33g salt
I’ve seen that salt is about 40% potassium.
So for a day I would need about :
-9g of the “salt replacement”
-5g regular salt
Is my math correct?
Thank you!
I’m of a firm belief that consuming electrolytes for smaller fasts (24-48 hr) isnt necessary. The minerals you absorb from eating is plenty
For longer fasts, biosteel is so damn perfect. 5 cal and negligible difference over these wild concoctions people come up with. Up in arms over 5cal that doesn’t even spike insulin and you burn off from a flight of stairs. Unreal lol
I know this doesn’t answer your question, I’m just venting a bit
People over complicate this part of IF
