Need Hydration Advice for 36:12

Hello, fasters.

So, I will be attempting a 36:12 fast very soon as I’ve gained some experience with OMAD fasts. I’m not trying to lose weight; I’m just experimenting with fasting. However, my question is: do I need to be worried about my magnesium/potassium levels during this stretch of time, especially if I’m running 2-5 miles in the stretch of time?

How do I go about properly hydrating without jeopardizing my health? Thanks!

Answer

I eat a spoonful of Celtic or Himalayan sea salt daily. I might eat two spoonfuls if I were exercising during 36:12. 2-4 bananas or avocados or potassium and magnesium equivalent during each eating window.
