Are there any other tiny people out there struggling to lose even 5 lbs? I’m only 5’2”, currently at my highest weight (excepting pregnancy) at 117.4 my goal is 112. I’m not overweight but do have some extra to slim down. Just restarted 16:8 and looking for success stories because I can’t seem to shake those 5 lbs.. I think because I’m so short to begin with?
Hehe there are many of us here! I’m in that boat being 5’3…. You will find it may take 1-2 months to lose that 5lbs. If you can, move to 20:4 or ADF (alternate day fasting) which I use as a tool to drop weight fast. I lost 15 lbs in 1.5 months doing this
I’m 5’4 so I feel ya! I only want to lose 5kg, but I’d settle for 3kg at the moment. Wish I had some tips for you, other than be patient. It’ll take us longer as we have less to lose. Some people have said that if 16:8 isn’t working, move to 18:6 and try this. Overall, enjoy all the other health benefits in the meantime - it’s a lifestyle, not a temporary diet!
Ha, same. I hear you! I’m 5’2 and was 118 at my heaviest in adult life except during my pregnancy. With IF, I got my weight under control at around 105 in the summer of 2020 and I felt good (I have very tiny bone structure as well.) Since then gained a couple of pounds in the last few months, so now I’m starting IF again. Today’s my day 8 and I’m down about 1 pounds.
