New Faster Question

Hi All:

Question from a new faster…

I am trying to fast but have trouble sleeping at night if I am hungry. I can abstain from eating…it’s just uncomfortable and it keeps me up and I have to sleep. I know one solution is to eat later and fast later the next day…but, I also know that eating before bed isn’t good for you. Catch 22. Any hacks?

Answer

Eat at the time that works best for you now. If you are concerned about eating late not being good for you, worry about that later, when you are more used to fasting.

But really, the time of day when you eat is way less important than other things. Prioritize, instead of trying to get everything “perfect.”

Answer

Embrace the uncomfortable. I used to have a hard time sleeping on an empty stomach. I would get out of bed to eat something! IF changed that though. Yes, it was uncomfortable, but it’s something you will build a tolerance to.
