Is fasting every other day for 2 weeks the same as a 1 week on 1 week off fast? I’m new to fasting.

I’d say they’re different, but more specifics would be helpful. One week on one week off could be extended fasting for a whole week or IF all week at 16:8 or 18:6 or 20:4 or OMAD and then eating normally for a whole week. Fasting every other day could also be 16, 18, 24, 36 hours… lots of protocols fall into those descriptions. Overall mood, autophagy, weight loss depends on which of these are followed.
