I have been trying to start fasting 8:16 for the last few months but have failed each time. I understand this is still 2 meals and it shouldnt be that hard. I wake up at 5am and waiting to 11am seems unbearable and often we have exams at 8am so dont want to deprive myself of the mental energy. Then I have lunch at the school cafe at 12. If I have back to back patients at that time and cant have lunch, I get so fatigued and hungry by 1pm I feel mentally and physically drained and dont have as much patience with my patients 😂😬 . Then I get home between 5-7pm and feel so starved that I will grab whatever is infront of me WHILE i am cooking dinner and getting my desk ready for more studying. This is why I have gained weight since I started this program. Please help. How can I make fasting work for me and loose that grad school baby fat. Thank you!
Sounds like you need to allow yourself to get into ketosis first before trying to fast, this will make fasting a lot easier and you will still loose weight, try this for a month then circle back to fasting, you should have more energy and not feel ravenous! Best of luck
