Newbie Question - Eating food when not hungry.

You all are so helpful and I hope you will indulge me with another question.

This is the second day in a row I am having the same issue. I allocate 1250 calories per day and go 16/8. Today I have about 40 more minutes to eat but I am not hungry - however I have only had 800 calories today. I had a very large lunch about an hour ago. Should I eat something so I am not hungry in the morning before I can break my fast or should I leave it? 800 calories seems really low - but today just worked out that way with a bunch of activities with the kids pushed my eating time to a really small window.

Hopefully all that made sense - thank you again.

Answer

I think you should aim to your 1250 even if you are not hungry at the specific moment. Your body need essential nutriments in order to function properly. My advise would be to eat fruits, nuts or anything healthy but sometimes small to fill your calories for the day with healthy food
