I am just getting started. I’m a little over a week in and I think this is something I can do long term. I just have a couple of questions. First, how many days a week do most of you do 16:8? There are two days a week it is going to be really hard for me, and I’m fairly sure I’ll have to break my schedule (Wednesday and Fridays). Second, if I start my fast early by about an hour, can I break it an hour early the next day? Or does that mess things up? For example, if I normally fast from 8pm to 12pm, and one night I stop eating at 6:30, could I start eating at 10:30 the next day and then just get back on my schedule from there? What are your thoughts?

For the last two weeks, I’ve fasted 18:6 every day.
However, every other Sunday I gave a Dungeons & Dragons game and the DM buys snacks, sodas and bacon cheeseburgers w/ fries from the local bar…but we don’t eat until about 8:00pm. This week, I’m planning fasting longer before and longer the day afterwards to make up for it but I’m totally not breaking tradition.
In other words, it’s totally fine to shift your fasting and feeding schedule around.
