Night shift nurse tips

I’m sure this has already been asked but I am planning on starting intermittent fasting as soon as I can figure this out. I work as a nurse from 7pm-7am 3 nights a week. I flip back to a normal day time lifestyle when I am off work so I can’t figure out how I will handle the fasting for those overlapping days? I do need to have some fuel in me because my job is physically demanding so I don’t think I would be able to fast all night at work.

Answer

This is just me but I actually like fasting when I’m on nights. I have a nice meal with my family before my shift starts then work through the night. Because I’m busy and active I don’t feel hungry. Then I sleep most of the day which gets me through the fast until meal time again (I do 20:4/OMAD/18:6 depending on what I’m doing that day).
