nightmares after the dry fast?

i did dry fasting twice ( 2 days ) and i broke the fast with peanut butter banana milkshakes. it felt great to eat again and the food had lots of flavor. but after i went to sleep i had the worst nightmares ever and they were very intense.

in one of my nightmares, i had woken up and wasnt able to move at all in bed and i thought that i had muscle failure. i tried calling my brother but even my voice decreased each time i called him until i wasnt able to say anything. i woke up in extreme fear. i also have been feeling scared that there is someone out to hurt me ( during the day ).

theres a concept that states “good cannot exist without bad/evil”. so it seems like i experience extreme joy when i finally eat for the first time after breaking a dry fast but then i experience the bad/evil which includes extreme fear which makes me never want to do dry fasting again.

do you guys also get nightmares or extreme fears the days after breaking the dry fast? i want to do dry fasting more often for my health but the nightmares are way too scary.

Purging and purifying of toxins and unprocessed emotions (Fear and other “negative” emotions) that have been suppressed and buried by daily eating can manifest as Nightmares and negative mind sets/thought patterns/anxiety and negative emotions when awake. I’d view what you went through as part of the healing process. From my understanding to purify and heal ourselves of physical toxins and suppressed emotional toxicity we must feel, experience and process the physical and emotional toxicity to let it go and heal from it.

On a side note, it sounds like sleep paralysis when you woke up, couldn’t move and had intense fear. Its pretty common and is also said to be a state in-between being asleep and awake. This state makes it easier to enter into a lucid dream or out of body experience.

what the hell, breaking a 2 day dry fast with a peanut butter banana milkshake? a mixture of incompatible, all very difficult to digest foods…

You could literally die and probably would at least end up at the hospital if you fasted another day or two and broke it like that. It is either way never good for health.

Research dry fasting, that’s dangerous and irresponsible.
