Not sure of the reasoning behind it but I have been told to always weigh yourself at the same time every day no matter the time of day. As long as it’s always at the same time then you are okay. Again, I’ve never actually done the research behind this but I like it :)
I work nights but the best advice I can give you is to not weigh yourself daily if that’s why you were planning. Weekly or bi-weekly at most. Daily is lapsing game mentally and will set you up to fail on days the scale doesn’t move. Just my 2cents.
