I’m recovering from some pretty heavy holiday feasting, and I’m really interested in how long of a fast I can manage. I was mildly hungry on day one, and very hungry yesterday. Didn’t sleep great last night, but I feel great this morning, and I’d love to hit at least 7 days. My longest previous fast was 14 days.
Anybody else around here on the same track?
It feels hilarious to be able to say that I haven’t eaten yet this year.
I’m with you! I’ve been fasting since midnight on New Year’s Eve so it’s been 80 hours. I’m really hoping for 21 days. Knowing my psyche, I set shorter goals and then extend them as I go along. Right now, I’m aiming for 7 days, then I will extend it to 10, 14, 21 days. Message me if you have temptations and you need some moral support. I find it very hard to fast when I live with 3 other people who are constantly eating really fragrant food.
Right there with you brother. I’m currently 74 hours in, with the intention of doing all of January but I won’t beat myself up if I don’t manage it. Might take it easy and supplement with broth as today was a real pain.
