Actually, there was report just published in nature metabolism that found that increased ketones from fasting and keto improve covid outcomes. There is a positive effect on T cells which helps improve the immune response to the virus. So really it might be better to keep fasting if you have covid.

This is what I did as well. Best to keep your body fuelled to fight off the virus.

Just a caution though, after a couple of weeks, once you start feeling better. Commit to restarting. I was a bit lazy with restarting and I fell off the wagon completely.

I started my 2nd IF stint after a break when I fell sick to COVID like symptoms.

I had to shove food forcefully to have some strength. Lost all appetite and 11 pounds in 2 weeks. Then I gained some after I recovered and then starting IF was easier as it was in recent memory
