i just completed a 3day fast . ( the 2nd day was dry). i was 185lbs. i was expecting a bigger difference. all 3 days ive lifted weights and jogged for about an hour. my fitbit listed 3,600 kal burned a day. its been 48hours since I broke my fast, currently eating low carb/keto. my weight is however around 184-185.5. ive been fasting 3-4 times a week, last day however, at the end of the night i stepped on the scale and experienced 0 weight change despite my intense exercise. which is why I ended it. anyone know why that is. currently 6’0 185lbs 13.5%bf trying to get to 12%. thanks
It could even be something as simple as the scale. My understanding of most scales - besides the ones that use weight counter-balancing like the kind you find at a doctors office - is that they are only good at giving you a ballpark figure and are highly susceptible to changes in air pressure, humidity, and temperature.
