If you’re interested in lab work you can get your fasting insulin checked. If it’s elevated in a fasted state that means you are insulin resistant and need to either cut back on sugar and starch, or, if you’ve already done that, then just give your body time to reacquire insulin sensitivity
If you aren’t seeing results it’s the food you are eating. Is it high in carbs and sugar? Completely cut out sugar and lower carbs. More vegetables and protein. You are going to have to severely limit or eliminate carbs if you want movement again.
What are you using to determine calories? Are you weighing and measuring everything? Not estimating? Counting everything that goes in including coffee, a bite of this, a little handful of that? If you were eating at a deficit for 4 weeks you would loose. So you’re not in a deficit.
